Stray Gods is a project that started as a lightning bolt of inspiration, somewhere around May 2021. Bob Katsionis had just bought a new Jazz-Bass instrument and played an Iron Maiden-Esque riff on it to check how it sounds like. And there it was: 6 days later, he had composed an album's worth of music powered by his great love for the greatest metal band on Earth. Didn't try to copy anything, he just wrote some music as if he was a member of Iron Maiden, but back in the glorious '80s, blended with his own aspect of melodies and rhythm.
