The lyrics take the listener through an epic, fantastical journey filled with easter-egg-like references to some of my favourite fantasy franchises. "This title nearly became the name of the album as it would pretty much sum up the context of the album: Musically it's all built around this main riff which was written by our guitar player Kone. It's very 'happy' sounding and has an almost U.D.O.'s "Faceless World" album style to it. I was thinking of how to best build a vocal line around it, without making it sound totally cliché. This would be the main riff, so the song kind of wrote itself. Lyric wise, it's painting a picture of an 80s feeling that shows like "Knight Rider," "Battlestar Galactica" or "Masters Of The Universe" brought on. It's a very visually inspired song, bringing back the cover art of IRON MAIDEN's "Somewhere In Time" in my brain. It doesn't really tell a story, it just gives off an overall 80s post-apocalyptic vision in a way. That being said, I really miss those days. Everything was better back then...everything was better in neon lights!" recalls Mr Lordi. 👹

Honoured as "Top 10 "Folk/Pagan/Viking/Medieval" Record of the Year" by Metal Hammer Germany, the 11-track hit collection, which is now available through Reigning Phoenix Music (RPM), was mixed and mastered by Florian Nowak (Dailyhero Recordings; Berlin, Germany). Packed with energy and versatility, this multi-dimensional record once again showcases RAUHBEIN's bold and unapologetic voice. Titled "Adrenalin," the album is available as a limited-edition box set, on CD and vinyl, and for streaming on all major platforms.
Frontman Henry states: "If you already had the chance to see us play on our ongoing tour alongside our friends in IN EXTREMO and KORPIKLAANI or even at our packed hometown show last night, you know exactly what to expect from "Adrenalin": This album has been made to turn each and every living room into a private stage. The album is a milestone of my career, of course, that's why it was even more important to me to make the original songs shine in a new light without losing their initial essence. All guests have put their individual stamps on these classic tracks, and collaborating with such outstanding vocalists has moved them into a fresh and exciting dimension. The result is a powerful homage to all fans but also an invitation to the next generation to experience the songs not minorly passionate than I was when I recorded them back in the day. It's a never-ending personal journey for me - "Balls To The Wall" will always be a part of me," states Udo.
